I gave myself a lesson this morning using a beginners guide.
Ohayo gozaimasu – good morning
Konnichiwa – hello/good afternoon
Sayonara – goodbye
Konbanwa – good evening
Domo arigato (gozaimasu) – thank you (very much)
Oyasumi nasai – good night
Ja mata ne! – see you!
Mata ashita – see you tomorrow
kochira wa… – this person is
kore wa… – this person is (about a member of the family)
sumimasen – excuse me/sorry
...ka – indicaes a question
okasan – mother
musuko – son
-san – when addressing somebody else
-sensei – when addressing a teacher
