This whole experience was AWESOME!!! It was really wonderful how everyone came together to donate for such a great cause. And how cool to be able to meet Adventurina and cheer her as she ran!!! I hope some other 43thingers get the same chance some day…she is totally COOL and WONDERFUL and as CHEERFUL as she seems online!!!

I’m VERY tired…I’m off to take a NAP!!!

YAY! I DID IT!!! I actually met Adventurina/Rosie (and G) and had a FABULOUS day…so don’t believe anything Adventurina tries to tell you that might indicate otherwise!!! She ran a GREAT race and finished in great time, all smiles and full of pep.

Bella got to go and received lots of attention at the race, but didn’t think much of the attention that Ginger and Pumpkin gave me when we went back to Adventurina’s house…she is very protective and just a mite bit jealous!

We had a fabulous lunch on the plaza, eating outside on the veranda and enjoying the beautiful day, the fantastic scenery, and great conversation. And, of course, yummy food…I had shrimp and bow tie pasta!

G and I both took pics, but mine have to be developed, so it will be at least tomorrow before I have them to post.

I am off to the races…be back soon with a FULL report!!!

I need to leave in about in 8 1/2 hours, just to make sure I get there in plenty of time and in case I want/need to stop for anything! Things to take:

camera (in the car) (need more film)
water bottles (need to fill some more filled and in the freezer)
chair (already in the car)
flag or pom poms to cheer with (I don’t have anything, but maybe I can stop and get something at Wal-mart?problem solved Hee, hee…do you think I can embarass her?)
ME!

I found a stamp, and made a quick run down to the PO and got it mailed, so now that’s out of the way! Next step…MEET ROSIE!!!
