Getting closer

So I knew that I only had 2 assignments to go on this course, but I hadn’t really taken in what that means. Only 3 more set texts to read (although I did read them all last summer) and only 4 more weeks of set study.
Part of me can’t wait for the freedom of finishing, that same part of me says ‘forget a degree, what do you need one for anyway?’
But a tiny little bit of me says, ‘go on do it, just a little bit more (two more 9 month courses) and you’ll be really finished. Then you can get on with everything else.’

EA300 Childrens Literature

So I’m all signed up for my next course – EA300 Childrens Literature, starts October. The set books look great – Toms Midnight Garden, Swallows and Amazons, Peter Rabbit to name but a few.
So looking forward to reading those, but worried about writing essays about them!

A363 - done

I’ve just posted out my final assignment for A363 – Advanced Creative Writing! Only a 4000 word short story.
Can’t beleive I’ve finished! Have to wait till August for my results.

If I want to do this degree I need to decide what to do next and book it.

Planning ahead

I’ve been looking on their website and found 3 courses that actually I wouldn’t mind doing. Which is cool as thats what I need to finish. But thats also 3 years work!
They are EA300 Children’s Literature, AA312 Total War and Social Change and U101 Design Thinking: Creativity for the 21st Century. (in that order) The other off putting thing is the fact that the last 2 are also Feb starts instead of Oct, so you have to work through the summer. Bummer.

A363 - the books just turned up

Ok so A363 – Advanced Creative Writing doesn’t start till 10th Oct, but the books turned up last night. I was kinda ignoring the fact I’d signed up for the course, but I can’t do that now.
I’m scared and excited in equal measure. Wish I’d done more (any) writing over the summer!

A363

I’ve just booked on A363 Advanced Creative Writing – starts Oct. It sounds really interesting, but I really haven’t been doing much writing in the last 6 months and so its scary too. I aim to write more over the summer and get back into the swing of it again. Must start writing my dreams down again too.
Anyway that’ll be 3 out of 6 towards a degree! Blimey.

Shouldn't be too hard I have at least started

So I’ve already done ‘An introduction to the humanities’ and ‘Creative writing’ so thats 2 out of 6. Only 4 more to go. I’d have done the ‘Creative Writing 2’ course this year if i hadn’t been learning about web design instead.
