Been working on other goals. Just having a hard time keeping the kitchen clean. I have however been using a juice machine which has been quite fun and healthy. However, it takes a lot of fruit or veggies and then clean up is a bit involved. I usually make extra and store it in the extra fridge. I know some of the vitamins are lost if the juice isn’t comsumed immediately. However, having extra juice on hand that is fresh within a day that I personally made (ie I know whats in it) is really nice… /ww

I’ve thought about this as a life goal but never done it. Weird thing is, I love to cook. In all honesty, I don’t care to clean to much. With my food and diet habits, I’m often inconsistant. I’ve bought a crock pot that came with a few recipes. Also, I’ve made huge batch of turkey chili and a froze it in 3 additional parts. We have an extra freezer in the garage, the food dollar savings for cooking ahead should offset the electricity cost for running the fridge. So, I have partially started meals in advance by using the “make lots and freeze it” technique. I just need to tie in more frequent grocery store trips and planned meals to buy so I build a weekly inventory of food to make out of the groceries. I feel very positive about this goal and it should help me with my lose weight goal, pending I cook healthier foods of course. I’ve always truly wanted to cash in on warehouse store food prices by buying lots of food and prepping it up in advance. I knew one guy that traditionally blew up his kitchen on Sunday afternoons with his wife. They’d cook three meals on Sundays and then for the week they had quick/easy meals to prepare. Clean-up was easier too during the week also.
