I’ve staked out this little plot of ground in my front yard for growing veggies. It’s six feet wide and five feet deep. Today I finally finished turning all of the soil and removing as much of the existing root-matter as possible. I also set some concrete blocks in the center to permit easy access to the plot without stepping on anything important. One of the blocks also marks the location of an underground sprinkler pipe, so that I don’t have a repeat episode with accidentally breaking one open. :)
