Went Swimming Today 1 week ago

I felt a little weird in an outdoor heated swimming pool while it was raining, but I made a promise to myself to go swimming TODAY! I did half an hour exercise which I am proud of!

feeling good! 3 months ago

Less work this week, a nice swim today… I haven’t even had any coke…yet! I am feeling good today!

Monday 7 months ago

Had a very pleasureable experience at a day spa yesturday, it did my chest cough lots of good!

Taking Daily Walks 8 months ago

For the last 3 weeks and I can feel the difference already. I am walking quicker and I am less puffed out and sweating with less effort when I get home!

Re-submitting my 'No Coke' Goal 12 months ago

As I have gone off the rails and need to get back on. I’m re submitting my entry about having no more coke. My last bottle was a 600ml yesturday! I need to drink more water, but I plan to buy a bit of coloured cordial – that way I don’t deprive my body of too much sugar and “I’ll come down!”

I've gone off the rails 12 months ago

Need to start again. But it feels kind of easier to build up my health again, this time. I think because I have a clearer idea of what I want to do.

I'm having my ups and downs 13 months ago

One week I’m really good, and next I’m really bad. But I’m not trying to change myself overnight. I realise that I’ve got to do one good thing at a time, or else I’ll go off the rails, so to speak. I think I’m just lacking motivation, lacking a reason why I want to care for myself better. I mean, it’s easy to say I just want to be a healthier person, but I don’t have a close partner or friend, or life event that I want to be healthier for! So it all becomes a little harder to stick to.

Brought a new cook book! And I now walk the dog! 14 months ago

CSIRO has released a new healthy heart book with tips on exercise, eating and preparing food etc. Haven’t eaten take-out since!

My flatmate also neglects her dog something shocking, so I’ve brought the poor thing a lead. The dog knew exactly what a leash was for and was soooo excited to see one! I felt so sad for it! But now I’m taking 1/2 hour walks with Buddy the dog and we both love it.
