am I the only woman on earth to have never received a manicure??

...apparently so, judging from the reactions I get when I tell people I’ve never had a manicure. I feel like I’m missing out on something huge; I fully expect to discover the solutions to world peace and the Rubik’s cube all at once if I ever get my nails done.
