apparently this is what cultivating optimism is about.
i happen to have a bit of a problem with expecting the best possible outcome.
what happens if the best doesn’t come, and u’re not prepared?
better be prepped for any unpleasant surprises.
i know! i know! ‘be prepared for the worst and expect the best’. or something to that effect. what a bunch of crap. who can actually do it?
well, maybe i can. perhaps this is what i could try and do.
