good progress
it turns out that a combo of portion control and physical activity works well for me.
at 176 cm and 70.4 kilos.
but as i used to be 64 kilos and most of my clothes (esp. tailored work clothes) are size M or 7, my current weight is a bit of a problem.
i need to lose the excessive weight.
first off, i’ll stop drinking syrupy drinks. then i’ll cut on my consumption of complex carbs. and perhaps more fruit and steamed veggies might help too.
exercise helps towards the goal as well, i realize. but the season is not conducive towards outdoor activities. snowboarding this season is not an option for a few reasons, and walking is a bit of a challenge with all the ice on the pavements and snow in the park.
other options available:
take stairs instead of using the elevator (i already do anyway)
go for a brisk walk every morning before taking a shower
go play volleyball (currently only saturday games are on)
go to swimming pool (oh, but the water is SO cold)
do yoga – either at the community centre or at home. i have some videos and photos… could be good for a light start.
sex? well… not much of a calorie-burning result there…
gosh… doesn’t look too good. i’m looking forward to this snow melting away so i can pick up my park jogs.
