gather around my lieblings… may life bring you effortless charm and strength so asking the question feels as easy as blowing soap bubbles and causes as momentous an impact as a tornado (but a constructive one, as opposed to a real one that blows off rooftops and throws sharp objects into soft bodies).

there is no realistic way to eliminate consumerism. 3 years ago

consumerism has become an intrinsic quality of western culture. it’s the blood that pumps through our veins and propels us into action.

we want to consume not just objects, but it’s now people and experiences that we want to gorge on.

greed and lack of consideration for the planet and the people around us are at the roots of the real problem.

i fondly remember kurt vonnegut’s words about love and kindness…

for God’s sake, let’s stop being so romantically intoxicated; let’s b decent instead, folks.
