got more bursts of inspiration. couldnt type fast enough at some points. but the thing is, the RX i am on bc of the flu are actually stimulants. eh.
had an AMAZING conversation with someone the other night. we realized we both like to protect what is important to us, and that we are very protective of our passions, and we hold ourselves to a very high standard/ideal. it is okay to accept ones passions and take steps forward. yey
An idea for a story came to me last night, and in bed i madly typed into my phone in the text message/notes section. alll of a sudden, with the title, came the rising action, the characters. the locations, the smells, the tiniest details, the looks in their eyes. and the REASON for the story.
something just under my nose. yes, i want to and will complete this, but the journey is realy amazing. my recall and attention to detail and flow is…... humbling.
my brain is back on and it is nice. it wasnt really missed when i wasnt like this. i think i needed a break from thinking! hah. and i needed a break from being so gosh darn PASSIONATE about everything. and needed time to reflect, and PUT THE PEN DOWN STOP WRITING, stop trying to out your feelings into a play where another character is going through them!! :)
it is great to sit and type away. to have it flow. to have it mean something to me. for anyone to write something it is nice for it to mean something and for the PROCESS to be enjoyable, and. . . . . . . . . mean something gosh darn it!
bits and pieces, out of order, come to me. it is a TOTALLY new idea, and i seem to be thinking from the end about this story, and i do not usually do that. ususally i have an idea, a character, and a rising action, but i do not know where to go (AH HA! the same can be said about my LIFE! ahhh haha) and NOW, i know where this play/novel/script is going to go and how it is going to end up. and maybe it is because i KNOW what i want out of life. my values are in order after being tested. i KNOW where this story is going, i can see the clarity in the characters intentions, history, and motives. i can see the clarity in my own life as well.
i can see the coffee cup from across the room that has glittered throuhg my veins today. :)
*Why I Write
i write mostly because i feel that it is a way of locking into immortality what i hold dear and have once seen. it is a way of bringing people together. it is medicine. it is escape.
to do this i need:
—get stuff from where it is being stored
—get a filing cabinet
—get blank folders
—rip out pages in magazines and newspapers to keep me on track
—make a concrete plan
—get inspired by Tyler Perry if i start to think i am “crazy” or with my head in the clouds.
—get blank notebooks together, OR buy a laptop, OR geet a new flash drive not sure which yet.
what i do know is that this MUST be done.
