i invited my sister to come into sf with me for a mani/pedi (a rare indulgence for me, with all that damn credit card debt, and first time ever for her)and then we went to a wine bar afterward. she’s going thru a divorce, so i think it was good for her to spend some girl time/self time. when we weren’t talking for those 12+ months, i missed her alot. it’s good to have my sister back.

breakthrough 3 years ago

my sister is a personal trainer and she asked me to help choreograph her first group class. until about 4 months ago, we hadn’t talked in a year and a half. re-establishing a relationship was slow-going, but we really connected working on this class. we spent our high-school years in dance club and cheerleading (yeah, i was one of those), so it was neat to do something we used to enjoy together.
