This is a goal that will be easier when I have full-time employment – and if I can encourage my body to need 7 hours instead of 9 hours of sleep. Right now, I’m getting up about 7 – or 7:15, when I drag myself out! – and using the extra time to get my blog reading and usual morning checking of web sites out of the way. I find that it’s a rather effective carrot on a stick, and it’s a leisurely, no-stress way to start the day – reading sites over breakfast. It means that by 9 a.m. emails, web sites, and newspaper are out of the way and I can have a productive day. It also means I can ensure that I have time for breakfast – THE most important meal of my day.
How you start your day can determine how good that day will be – so as long as I’m rested, have fruit for breakky and start the day off right I can learn to achieve real, tangible results.
