The past few months I haven’t exercised much, and I’m making a positive change. I did a half-hour of aerobics on Saturday and Monday mornings with my wife. I’m going to try not to push it this time and over-do.
As a good friend recently said to me, “flexibility & conditioning are things you work for over time, not something you instantly attain through brute force.”
is doing a wellness thing where you set goals for health/fitness and keep track of them. You can win weekly prizes just for participating. I think I’ll try that, and make my goal to exercise three times a week.
Saturday and Sunday mornings I did Denise Austin workouts with my wife. It felt good to move and work up a sweat. I just need to keep it up—and not fall off after a couple of weeks like I always seem to do.

Being home all week gave me the chance to work out with my wife several times. Mostly low-impact aerobics and yoga/pilates—stuff from Denise Austin’s daily workout show, which she tapes.
