Today I read about Neko Case in the Onion’s AV Club http://www.avclub.com/content/node/48266 and checked out her indie label site: http://www.anti.com/artist.php?id=13.
Neko’s a former punker who now does well-produced alt-country, though those labels don’t really do her justice. There are a couple free mp3’s from previous CD on her site.
