Lost opportunity by not seizing the day 2 years ago

My wonderful wife was checking out the classified ads and found a nice used air compressor for $35. A new one goes for about $100.

So I called the guy and it sounded great, but I didn’t tell him I wanted it right away. And I made arrangements to see it the following day. When I called him around lunchtime, he’d already sold it to somebody else.

I waited. And I lost out on a good opportunity.

When will I learn?

My first day back 2 years ago

has been hectic. I’ve been on vacation since Friday, and stepped back into a whirlwind at work. I’m doing my own job and somebody else’s job who just left. And I’m demented enough to be considering doing this full time. Yikes!

No time to play around on 43T, sadly, for the moment. I did seize the day, though, and have gotten a lot done today.

I seized the day this morning 2 years ago

Had a very nice quickie with my wife, after which we did aerobics for 20 minutes.

It would have been much easier to roll over and get another half-hour of sleep. But I’m so glad I grabbed the moment.
