finish remodeling my house

Almost there. the last big thing is carpet, and I’m done.

We now have all new appliances and a new water heater! yay! The new water heater is AWESOME. We just started spraypainting our formica countertops with a terra cotta finish. We’re going to lightly sand it and then put a clear coat on top to seal it. The final step will be to put in the new sink and faucet. :D

last night we got a paint sprayer (on sale even!) and have tested it out in the guest room. Not only does the guest room look FANTASTIC, we finished most of it in 5 minutes. (we ran out of paint!) Definitely worth the expense and it will help us immensely with the gameroom (which requires a LOT of painting).

Dining Room’s done! It looks so excellent. :D

Ceiling has been restomped, all the old trim removed, drywall all patched. YEAH!

Finally looks like we have found some decent contractors! They come to start on fixing the dining room Wednesday.

and if they do a good job, the rest of the house is theirs to fix!

I’ve been trying to do something on the house every day even if it is just little. Today I put plates on the outlets and light switches that were missing them, and installed that second smoke alarm that I’d bought and was just sitting there.

I replaced a broken light switch! Yeah bitches! \m/
