LOOKS A HELL OF A LOT BETTER!!!
My skin isn’t so dry anymore
-I’ve started exfoliating my face with a super soft hand towel twice a week.
-And by accident (& laziness) I found when I can’t (or don’t want to) wash my face at night, I wipe my face with alcohol & then put on my retin-a and my face isn’t super dry like before!
Now my face has a few little bumps in random areas, some darker spots & blackheads around my nose. ugh. I’ll try using pore strips on those areas. My dermatologist said to come back in April (it’s January 5th). Hopefully, I can be done with this goal soon.

Now that I’m on winter vacation, I’ve made a winter resolution:
To clear up my acne as much as possible before I go back to school.
I’ve been using my products religiously and drinking more water (especially before going to bed).I also used to eat an english muffin with fried eggs, cheese, and turkey bacon everyday but now switched to a parfait. (But it’s not like I’ve been eating unhealthy cause I’m a health nut) I’m also going to do a colon cleanse so that might help a bit too. Now there’s only a few pimples that piss me off & some dark spots. But for now…
THANK GOD FOR DERMATOLOGISTS!!
Btw…
Honey works wonders for pimples & acne! Wash your face, either put it on your whole face, or just the few pimples & leave it on for at least 20 minutes. Wash it off & finish your night routine & go to bed. You’ll wake up the next mourning and see that the pimples are at least half the size!

I’ve done my regimen since Wednesday (3 days) and my skin has gotten a little better. My parents & sister have seen an improvement so that’s a good thing. :)
my regimen:
mourning:
- “Continuously Clear” Face Wash, Clearz it, & Repairz it **btw: You can buy the continuously clear youth(what I use)& adult formula products at hsn.com
- Oral Supplements (multivitamin, fish oil, baby asprin, & Doxycycline)
Night:
-“Continuously Clear” Face Wash
- Retin-A
Once a Week:
-Honey Mask
But now my problem is that my skin is REALLY drying out. Right now I’m using lotion for it but does anyone know any really good moisterizers?

the estheticians didn’t work
my acne actually got worse. Starting late July, I started getting little bumps on my forehead that spread to my whole face. Then those were replaced with a whole lot of pimples. For a few weeks, my face would just hurt.
i went to the doctor & they perscribed 5% benzoil peroxide but it made it worse. Then my mom bought me this stuff on tv and it’s been making my skin a little better.
Then I went to the dermatologist & they perscribed a face wash with 5.25% benzol peroxide (even though I told them that I don’t think it works on me & actually makes my skin worse so I won’t use it), an antibiotic, and retin-a. They told me to only use the wash & retin-a once a day at night but what in the mourning? So I’ve decided to use the stuff that I already have in the mourning & the retin-a at night.
Hopefully this works….

There’s always a new pimple popping up! And they’lll come up like, 3 at a time! But, my esthetician said that the products I’m using will bring up everything. I guess she wasn’t kidding. Hopefully, I can stick with this without cussing out the esthetician…

and my skin is 75% clear!!! yay!!
i LOVE estheticians!!!
they’ve done more in 3 days than proactiv ever did in 3 YEARS!!!
my reginmen:
mourning:
-black ball soap
-ice cube
-medicated cream
Night:
-black ball soap
-ice cube
-medicated cream
monday, wednesday, and fridays at night after black ball soap: acne pumice scrub
sunday & saturday at night after black ball soap: natural clay mask
the ice cube isn’t bad. it’s actually become very relaxing. lol my mom can’t stand it though. I think I’ll be one with this goal really soon. (after 6 years for frustration)

skin essence clinic and day spa
www.skinessence.net
i’ve had acne for about 6 years and i used proactiv for about 3 (didn’t help that much). my grandmother actually told me about it and gave me and my dad $200 to go. (it cost $230 with the facials and products) they gave us facials and then each gave us a customized constultation and regimen for home.
my esthetician was really nice and gentle (besides from popping pimples) and explained everything to me. My first visit was yesturday and a few hours later, my face was soooo much better!
they not only treat acne. they also do hyperpigmentation, dry skin, irregular skin tone, and ingrown hairs.
my family and i are living proof that it works and we all go in for different problems.
unfortunately, their clinics are only in california and atlanta, georgia. however, you can still buy their products online.
