i joined sparkpeople and i’m going to pick back up on this goal. my ultimate goal is 105, so i’ll let everyone know how i do.

i don’t think i’m going to be able to reach this goal.. unfortunately, i got pregnant in june. i opted for abortion and didn’t gain much weight since i was only 9 weeks along, but it was difficult for me to lose any either because i had to eat consistently throughout the day to avoid morning sickness. now, i have to eat because i take a plethora of pills and i throw up if i take them on an empty stomach. i didn’t have enough energy during pregnancy to exercise.. not even walking.. i’m anemic, so it was difficult for me to even move without passing out. now, i’m sore from the abortion and crunches [my favorite] kill me. i’ve been walking a lot at least, but damn. it just sucks. i might still be able to make it, we’ll see.

i haven’t entried in forever, but i’m still working on this goal. i got a new job that’s a 2 mile walk, so i get plenty of walking in everyday. other than that, not much else is new. i’m making some progress, that’s for sure.

i feel that my clothes are getting somewhat looser. not much, but i notice a little bit of a difference.

i haven’t eaten yet today, but i’m either having a turkey sub or leftover chinese food. so yeah.

i’ll have to walk later, too. i woke up late.

i had a really long walk today. i walked all the way to the hospital and back for an interview for data entry. i hope i get it.. do you realize how awesome it’d be to get a walk like that in 5 times a week?

i haven’t eaten yet today, but i’m planning on a Lean Gourmet meal and probably a little something else depending on what my bf brings home.

so yeah, i feel good. =]

i gave myself a little leeway on calories today, because yesterday, my boyfriend brought home food and it screwed up my food log. so, if he brings home food, i will have a little over 1000 calories today. if not, it’ll be like 400 some. and very little fat.

i was just wondering.. do you think this is an acceptable amount of food for one day?

one banana. [100 cal]
one popsicle. [35 cal]
lean gourmet meal. [3g fat, 250 cal]
two pieces of wheat bread. [1g fat, 160 cal]

also, which is better.. eating all of your food in the morning [as to avoid messing up later in the day] or spacing tiny amounts of food up during the day? does it matter as long as it’s the same amount of food? does it make a difference in the amount of weight loss you experience?

so, i got drunk last night [first big no-no.. beer has a lot of calories] and then ate a lot.. and i mean, it was food that wasn’t good for me at all.. things like combos and crap. i can’t believe i sabotaged my diet like that, but it’s all the more reason for me to stay even more on track from now on.

another day of walking ahead of me. i guess i’m kinda lucky i don’t have a car at the moment considering my goal. i’m less apt to be lazy, especially when i need to get things done.

i also started an exercise regime. it’s not much without a gym membership [or money to get one at that], but it definitely works, especially since i don’t consume many calories. i don’t need a full, vigorous workout when i walk all over denver everyday and restrict my caloric intake the way i do. 30 minutes a day should be enough extra exercise, just so i can get things like crunches and push-ups in there. there’s no point in losing weight if you just wind up flabby due to lack of strength training.

i’d love to weigh 110 and i will.. but what’s more important to me, above all else, is having a strong body.

i’m sure it did my body some good.
