write a story

I guess just setting this goal kind of sparked me thinking about it a lot again. Yesterday I thought of an important thing for my story. My big problem (which is the history of the relationship between my two main characters) is not yet solved, but my idea gives the story context, not unimportant ;-). Sorry that I`m so vague about it, but I don`t really want to be very specific, not to keep it a secret (well a little), but also because I`m then getting it out of my system, which needs to happen while writing the actual story.

It`s the one that`s been in my head for the past 3 years. I used to write when I was younger, but I stopped at a certain point because homework was more important and after that I just wanted to watch tv. Also, I`m not sure if I`m able to write a complete story. I`m sort of an image thinker, I see everything in my head and I`ve always had problems getting it into either a drawing or into words. Why can`t you just attach a printer to my head hehe. Anyway, I like taking pictures because of the “what you see is what you get” quality (I think you can understand my frustration when the lighting is off and my picture doesn`t look like what I saw).
But I need to try to write this, because the story needs to get out of my system eventually. I don`t think I`ll start any time soon though, because I want a few story details to be more clear to me first.

I guess this is one of my first more artistic goals. I`ll add a few more later.
