go to Australia and/or New Zealand

Weeeeeeird xD

I was watching Neighbours (Australian soap). The Soap is like 2 years behind over here ;)?!.. Well.. Anyway.. It was Christmas over there.. and I was like.. why is it all sunny and light? Instead of dark with Christmas lights?

Silly me! I forgot! Neighbours is about people that live in Australia.. and it’s summer in Australia when it’s winter over here! So they have a summer Christmas instead of a winter Christmas. Such a weird idea ;). But people in Australia probably think it’s weird to celebrate Christmas in winter ;).

I still want to go there someday :).. I’m not totally sure I’ll get used to the idea of celebrating Christmas in summer though ;).

Today we had this little introduction in our class ;). From half of the people in my class I already knew who they are.. but the other half was new to me ;).

In pairs we had a little conversation with one of our new classmates and after that, we had to introduce each other to our other classmates. It was a nice way to get to know each other a little bit more ;) =].

and I know something now that I didn’t know before. It seems one my classmates has an mother that comes from Australia. How cool is that :D?! Having a parent that’s from a foreign country ;)?? and then from Australia :D! I think that’s cool ;) =]!

He also told he thinks of going to Australia and live there after graduating here. I think that’s even more cool ;) :D!! That would be awesome =] immigrate to another country ;). But also a bit hard.. cause you have to miss your family and friends.

Well.. let me go back, to why I started writing this entry. I just thought it was funny and sort of a coincidence that I’ve been thinking about going to Australia and then suddenly one of my class mates seems to have an Australian mom and thinks of moving to Australia ;).

Good question.. I don’t really know why =S.. It’s not that I know so much about the country.. But it’s probably just a bit the same, as that I want to go to Norway sometime.. Australia and New Zealand just seem nice somehow =].. I can’t explain..

I think those countries are just countries you should see at least once in your life ;).. but that’s probably with more countries xD.. Now that I’m thinking of it.. It would be so amazing to travel around the hole WORLD :D! To see all those different countries, cultures and meet all those different people =). That would be really cool :D! But unfortunately.. I don’t think that’s very realistic =(.. well.. for me it isn’t.. I have respect for people who are able to succeed a goal like that ;) =] You guys are very lucky ;) =]!

Cause I won’t be able to travel around the world.. I think I should just go to some countries that I’m attracted to somehow ;).. like Norway, Australia, New Zealand and the UK =]

So I want to go to Australia or New Zealand sometime as well =].. Or maybe I’ll go to both countries ;). This goal will be harder then going to Norway or the UK though ;).. Australia and New Zealand are a little bit much further away 0=) ;).
