Since learning that I don’t need a passport to enter Canada, I got sort of lazy about applying for one since I didn’t have any specific reason for applying.
Then I found out about this awesome class that takes place over two weeks in December. It’s called Ecology of Baja. I will be staying near Cabo San Lucas, canoeing and kayaking in the ocean, and exploring the Sonoran, all while getting 4 credits towards my major. YAY! :)

The trip has been planned. We are going to go through Glacier National Park in northern Montana, and travel up through the state into Alberta.
Now the problem is just getting that darn passport…

Today I found out that I can use a birth certificate and photo ID as substitute for a passport on my Canada trip. However, I still think I want to get an actual passport in case I decide to do study abroad next year.
So I just finished printing out my DS-11 form! I already have the picture, so now all I have to do is save up the $97 for fees, and I’m set.
