live in England

I’m leaving Detroit for London on July 26th. That’s SOOO soon! Yes, I’m freaked out about getting all my sh*t together in time, but I’m very, very, very happy to be going. My acceptance to the study abroad program hasn’t come through yet, though. I think I’ll go even if I don’t get accepted. I can’t think of a good reason for them NOT to accept me, but who knows.

I got a research assistantship through my university for next academic year. It will allow me to do an exchange program to the University of Salford (in Manchester, UK). I’ll be going in July/August and coming back in April/May. I’m so excited! I’m burned out from school, but this is an opportunity I don’t want to miss! More details to follow.
