Seeing as it’s bascially copying someone else’s work. But I found these pictures while I was tidying my room, and I rather liked them so I thought I’d put them up here.

I did them a while ago when I was still at school. We were doing a project on Escher’s hands, and had to copy a couple of his pieces. I’ve included the original as well as my versions so you can see how they compare :)

Ok so here’s the first one. The picture is creatively titled ‘hand with reflecting sphere’. Well, he was an artist not a poet I suppose. Anyway, mine is obviously the one on the right. Unfortunately I didn’t get round to the sphere bit, so I may work on that at some point in the future.

The second picture, ‘Drawing Hands’ is yet another cleverly titled work (lol). Mine is the one at the bottom. But I didn’t really need to tell you that, did I!? A couple of the angles are dodgy, but I thought it was reasonably well drawn.

Anyway, til next time, when I shall post some of my own pieces :D

If I put my mind to it 1 year ago

accomplishing this goal shouldn’t be that difficult. It’s not like I don’t have the time, I just need to find the motivation to do it.

I’ve always been a fairly creative person, and I’ve expressed this mostly through drawing and writing. I’m also trying to give photography a go. I may post a few of my pictures up here at some point, if I feel brave enough to subject myself to criticism…
