27. Big Daddy

I’m not a huge Adam Sandler fan. Surprisingly though, this movie wasn’t half bad. It’s a nice, sweet, funny, feel-good flick.

26. World's Greatest Dad

Amazing!! Robin Williams is brilliant as down-on-his-luck Lance who turns his life around through the death of his douchebag son.

Highly recommend this movie to anyone.

“I used to think that the worst thing in life is ending up all alone… it’s not. The worst thing in life is ending up with people who make you feel all alone.”

-Lance, World’s Greatest Dad

25. The Ice Storm

Brilliant. Tragically beautiful. One of my all time favorite movies. I had seen this a few years back, but I loved it even more the second time around.

24. The Winning Season

I was in the mood for something light and funny. This movie was perfect for just that. It was light, funny, a little idiotic at first (in a good way) but it really grows on you just like all the characters in the movie. It was quite touching. Currently streaming on netflix instant.

23. The Last Days of Disco

Entertaining at first, but I became very bored with this movie about halfway through. I may need to watch it again but not anytime soon.

22. 50/50

I love this movie. One of my favorite movies so far this year.
Takes a serious subject (cancer), and deals with it respectfully and gracefully, all the while engaging the audience. It’s not just about cancer, it’s about true friendships. A beautiful movie, I highly recommend it.

21. The Sitter

Entertaining but overall too over the top (unrealistic) and predictable.

20. Crazy Stupid Love

Very funny. Love the twist near the end. Great flick.

19. Bridesmaids

Finally saw it. Funny and entertaining, but overrated as I suspected. :)

18. Martha Marcy May Marlene

Brilliant and beautifully disturbing. Hauntingly sad.
