get a job

well i have a job offer for 2-3 months in the summer at morey’s piers in NJ as a cashier in admissions. I’m a bit scared to be going all that way and to actually have to work haha. i had my work visa interview on thursday and that was granted i think so got to book my flight and stuff now. goodness knows what i’m gonna do after that as i’ll be finished uni in just over a month. i’m thinking of being a language assistant in paris for a year but my french and confidence are terrible! lol.

well i applied for a christmas job at the restaurant at debenhams in my home town as i’m home from uni but no they never got back to me :( maybe they found out my niece works there haha. i randomly applied but i did kind of expect to get it because i am very qualified. but i have like no experience even though i’m 21 and i wasn’t very assertive in the telephone interview :( then i dislocated my knee so i didn’t bother looking or another job. don’t think i’ll bother again until after i graduate though i may still do work experience america unless they reject me too :( i’m getting a bit worried now that i’ll never be employable; my best friend still hasn’t got a job after finishing uni in june with a very good degree from a better uni than i’m at :S oh well i’ll just have to carry on being a professional lay-about :)
