I know its not a big deal & the chances of this happening are pretty slim, but I always think about what if I was stranded somewhere and the only car around was a stick. or what if I really needed to get somewhere and needed to borrow a car from a friend and they only had a stick.
Something similar recently happened to me in Mexico. It wasn’t an emergency or anything, but we wanted to rent a car to do a little exploring, and the only available was a stick shift. Luckily, my mom knew how to do it, since I had no clue.
In situations like this & life in general, I think its just a good thing to know. but… I have no one to teach me. :(
