Well.. I’m about 2 chapters into my russian book and I am loving each moment I learn a new word, verb, or phrase. So I am marking this as done because I learned to “speak” simple things, but I am for sure not quitting it now, still want to become fluent which is why I will add that back into my 43 things.

I got a Russian text book today for christmas, so I am deffinatly starting, an hour a day, 5 days a week, basically im simulating a class room. I am anxious to be fluent, which will take what a few years?
Russia here I come!
Здравствулте!
I am at the level of just finishing learning the alphabet and some basic grettins and farwells, so I would consider myself an absolute beginner. I am 16 years old, also learning spanish in school so its a tuff time to find time to study russian, but it is one of my main goals for 2007. I don’t know how it striked me to learn it, it is just so different than english, so I though why the heck not, It cant do any harm? SO… hopefully by the summer I can be somewaht able to carry on a conversation, now just got to find some one russian to practice with me!
anyone know a good SAFE palce where you can get russian friends to write to or something.. sounds out of the blue, but i really need to practice with someone besdies the mirror..
