I spent about two years of my life in the swing scene-started about 8 months before Swingers came out, which changed everything. I learned by going with a girlfriend to the Derby where they gave free lessons every week. So that we could both learn, I wound up having to learn how to lead. (Which I also recommend for girls if you can still manage to follow.) I loved it, and every once in a while, I still get an opportunity to dance. Do it!
