Today I will...

Its a bit late for a to do I am just about to jump into bed. so what happened today?

I am back up the valley working, its been a funny sort of a day, didn’t do much but the time flew anyway. Looking forward to going home, counting down the minutes.

1. read (should finish ‘Blindmans Bluff’ by Faye Kellerman)
2. sleep

It is another top day, so far I’ve read the papers, walked the dog and drank my coffee. I’m trying to talk C into going out for lunch she isn’t that interested :{

Plans for the rest of the day nothing much if we don’t do lunch then I’ll have to make alternative plans, I’m cashed up after winning a bit yesterday so I plan on having some fun.

Today I will

1. pick up my work cloths from the laundrette
2. try and talk C into lunch
3. do last weeks invoicing
4. read last weeks mail (bills)
5. go see a live band, I’ve read the gig guide and there is nothing on that catches my attention
6. have fun / stay sober
7. relax
8. get an early night, I’ve got a 3am start in the morning

Plans for today not much I am working this morning, L is going to Sydney for the night that leaves me with the usual few beers after work a bet on the horses an early tea and bed

1. work
2. hopefully make it to the Saturday morning meat raffle (I didn’t)
3. have a few beers and a couple of bets (I did, and I’m $2,000 richer)
4. stay half sober (I didn’t does 3/4 smashed count?)
5. take the dog for an evening walk (since he wont get his morning one) just going now
6. get another early night/read/listen to some music

Yesterday was a long boring day at work, everyone was pulled out of the mine due to high gas levels (CO) UG we spent all day on the surface in 40 degree heat waiting on gas levels to fall.

My trip home took longer than usual due to me stopping off to give L her phone charger (mistake), we ended up going out for dinner and more than a few beers. now I am suffering and I still have her charger.

Today is another beautiful day is sunny with out a breath of wind, a forecast top is 35 degrees http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDN10060.shtml#HUN.

Plans fore today I haven’t made any, let me think.

Today I will

1. finish my coffee, read the papers and then walk the dog
2. ring CP to see if they need my to work CVC later this arvo and /or Sat morning
3. continue tidying up the yard
4. read my mail, pay some bills
5. drop my work cloths at the laundrette
6. if I am not working … Go into town and catch up with the Friday afternoon crowd

Its been a long week away, today is my last shift and I will be heading back to the coast this afternoon.

Plans for today

1. read my email and fire off a couple of replies before I leave for work this morning
2. work (not looking forward to it)
3. complete spraying the Box Thorn on my property at Broke (on the way home)
4. drop off L’s phone charger (on way home)
5. have an early night I’m buggered

Yesterday’s storms did come I got home late couldn’t sleep and now its time to head back up the valley to work. I’ll be home late Thursday. At least the weather should be a little cooler, a Southerly change hit the coast at 2am cooling things down.

3. grab an early dinner a couple of beers and an early night

It’s a sunny Sunday with a forecast top of 41 degrees http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDN10060.shtml#HUN at the moment its quite pleasant 32 degrees, there is a sea breeze and the sun is still trying to burn off some low level cloud. Once it does the temperature will soar. So far this morning I’ve read the papers, drank my coffee, walked the boy, sorted my work cloths out for tomorrow and tidied up some more around the yard.

Plans for the rest of the day

1. go sit in the sun drink beer and listen to some live music. (L has gone and cancelled our picnic lunch)
2. maybe go for a late afternoon swim (storms are forecast for this evening and they are active to the south already http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDR041.loop.shtml#skip)
3. have an early night, I’ve a 4am start in the morning

Yesterday was an absolute stinking hot day, the temperature at Singleton, that’s ‘up the valley’ reached 45 degrees which was the hottest in the state, luckily I wasn’t there to experience it.

On the coast is was a much more bearable 37 degrees. By the time I made it into town for a beer at the beaches it was a comfortable 35.
The first summer afternoon storm for the season hit just as we were leaving the beaches.

Plans for today, I am not working so I’ve slept in. So far I’ve read the papers and drank my coffee. I am about to walk the dog and have a swim (its quite warm already the forecast is for 37 on the coast). after that I not sure.

1. walk the boy
2. go to the hardware shop
3. poison the edges
4. clean up around the yard
5. go to the Saturday morning meat raffles
6. have a beer and a bet
7. read listen to some new music and relax

Yesterday’s trip through the vineyards was a fun afternoon, lunch and Enzo’s was exceptional the wines were great the company fantastic and the weather extremely hot. I fear today is going to be back to the boring. The weather is once again tipped to hit the high thirties but at least being on the coast means it will cool down in the evening.

Today I will

1. finish my coffee (no pain killers this morning) read the papers
2. walk the dog
3. go buy some seafood for dinner
4. ring CP and see if I am working CVC this weekend
5. maybe go into town for a beer with the Friday afternoon crowd
6. have a nice simple seafood dinner with a bottle of white

Its going to be a hot day. I’ve taken today off work just because I feel like it, actually I went out for dinner, didn’t get home till late and couldn’t be bothered getting up. Plans for today don’t have any.

1. go grab some breakfast (coffee and pain killers)
2. go shopping
3. show L some of the sights around town, maybe take a trip through the vine yards
4. travel back home to Newy
5. grab an afternoon beer
