Pass my AS exams

Wow what a day lol well ill start from this morning when about quater 7 i decided to log into track… where it said that i was unsuccessful at Leicester but got into Kent..i probably should have been happy that i got into Kent but wasnt as i really wanted to go to Leicester

Anyway fastforward to picking up my results at half 9 and i got

English :B
Theology:B
History :C
Media :D

For Leicester i needed 3 B’s and i was only 14 marks off a B in history so was told to ring them and plead my case… finally after numerous phonecalls (made by an amazinnnng person!) they rang back and said Leicester were accepting me :D:D:D

So in 5 and a half weeks im starting at Leicester wooop =]

Arrrgh! Only 16 days left till results day and im beginning to panic.. I have visions of failing everything and having to tell everyone.

Finished my last two exams on tuesday (: so glad they’re all over!!

Theology in morning wasnt as bad as i was expecting i dont think, freewill and problem of evil question was okay but think i messed up 2nd question :S

Media went fine think i remembered everything to put in

Even though I very much doubt it i really really really hope ive done enough to get into leicester uni!!!!!!!!

August 20th: RESULTS DAY!!

Had history first this morning. Im so glad a trade union question up because i knew nothing about hispanics/orientals.
I think it went okayy but not great, im hoping for a B but as long as its not lower than a C i wont be too disappointed =/
I tried to connect different paragraphs like with media in af-am question and presidents in trade union question so fingers crossed!

However for the media there is no hopee. I did terrible, i didnt really understand what i should have wrote , the questions were awful :S I need a C but will probably have got like a E or something.. eeeeeeek!

Only 2 to go!!

Had my 3 hour english lit exam and to be honest im not entirely sure how it went :S it was on the pre-release and angela’s ashes. I dont think it went really bad (as in like an E ) but i very much doubt ive got a B

please please please please let me get a B overall for English lit. I will actually cry if i dont get into Leicester :(

history and media tomorrow..blahhhhhhhhh sick of exams now!

Just got back from sitting my first English lit exam on Wife of Bath and Measure for Measure, before the exam I was expecting to do well in Measure for Measure and not in wife of bath ,however it was definatly the other way round :S

For wife of bath i answered question on interest relises on chaucers ability to make us laugh. I actually think i did good on this question , well i remembered quotes and techniques and things and wrote 5 and half pages so hopefully i’ve done okay =]

Measure for Measure though :S:S:S I just couldn’t think of any context to do with the question and im sure i just made up half of the context i did manage to put in… however i did write just under 5 pages and i did try to explain points i made so i dunno.

I have to get a B in english so fingers crossed!!!

Just wednesdays 3 hour synoptic unit to go now then i’ve finished english (:

Okay my exams started this week =/

Did my ethics resit (again) on tuesday.. i think it went okayish but not sure i’ll have improved my last grade probably got a low C/D .

Today i had my ethics A2 modual which i was absolutly dreading..
the first question i answered was on free will and determinism which i wanted to come up. I think i answered this rather well and covered everything but you can never be sure if you have answered it ‘right’

however for my second choice i chose the 3rd question about religious ethics being best approach to medical issues and dont think that went well. i wrote about natural law and utilitarianism bit of situation ethics and sancity of life, but i did more of a basic outline and dont think my argument was strong so :S:S

i really need a B in this exam to have a chance of getting a B overall but cant seem me getting one so hopefully ive managed to get a C any lower and im in trouble =/

My exams start June 2nd =[

Theology resit is my first one then i’ve got 7 more till they finish on 16th june.

Ive decided im just going to revise loads and try my best because i really want to get into Leicester uni.

all my coursework is finally completed so i can concentrate on exams.

cannot wait till they’re all over :)

English Lit Great Gatsby – B …How I got this i do not know I thought the exam went terrible :S aah well im not complaining :D:D
Means my overall grade for English As is a B (:

History American Civil War – B .. Really pleased with this resit mark went from a D to a B (:

Theology Ethics – C … I got 24 more marks than in my resit so was pleased but im still resiting it again to try and get a B.

So overall my resits and A2 moduals went really well…better than i thought (:

Only one im resiting is Theology Ethics just to make it a little bit easier to get an overall B at A2.

Media – 198 C

Ive made my firm and insurance choice for uni as well

Leicester : English and American studies (with a year in america)
Offer : BBB (including English) – Firm Choice

Kent : English and American Literature (with an approved year abroard)
Offer : 320 points with BB at A2 including English. – Insurance

I really hope I get into Leicester =]
