learn to drive a stickshift

I’ve mastered up to 3rd gear, yet still am having a bit of trouble getting the car going…more gas and a slower release on the clutch should do the trick, but unfortunately it’s easier said than done!

So my amazing boyfriend taught me how to drive his car on our first date while we were waiting for a table at a nice italian restaurant. He took me to an empty parking lot and with only a couple stalls I worked my way into 2nd gear in no time. I wasn’t ready to face the roads just yet, but I’ve taken the first step.
