write a novel

so, this character, Eddie, has been in the back of my mind for a while. I have a few scenes that I’ve been thinking about, and i’ve written a complete plot. not going to post it just yet, but maybe a sample soon. this is very exciting. if i just keep working on this piece… every once in a while doing revision, editing, writing scenes, then maybe eventually I will have a publishable work.

i’m writing a story about an adolescent boy named Edward Craile, and how he becomes trapped in a dream. he has to make choices in this dream which are analogous to the choices he must make in reality: especially focusing on the religious turmoil most adolescents must go through. he will have to find for himself who (characters representaing different deities and religious beliefs) to follow. the message of the book is that you have to follow your own path, not one laid out by any religion, and develop your own personal morals on the way.
