This would be my first public effort toward implementing tighter water conservation polices in S.California. Although most of my efforts may end up as futile attempts at bureaucratic persuasion. Having been personally affected emotionally by the devastating results of water abuse, has motivated me to make an effort and serve my psychological venting mechanism in a paralleled effort to help save a few of our natural springs and spring fed lakes. Although it certainly won’t restore the spring fed lakes I swam in as a boy, since the spring arteries have already collapsed or caved in. Who knows maybe we can save a few fish while we’re at it. With only so many springs and having so little time, pardon the typos. . .

One of the first tools that needs to be implemented, (however financed), is MANDATORY water pressure regulators on all DWP water meters. A good start would be on all NEW instalations. This would also eliminate safety mishaps, especially CHILD SAFETY, mishaps on the residence side of the meters.
