implement GTD

I’ll pop in the recording, while I’m working tonight.

I’ve got my faith back in the system which is one of the pillars that you have faith enough to throw everything into your management system. Anyway, I’m using Mail Tag to sort.

I’ve got to start getting more stuff done though. Things are languishing too long on my list.

I really like it better than kinkless GTD in terms of functionality, and I’m tired of waiting for “Omni-focus”

David said that it takes about two years before someone can really use the system proficiently. Good to know. I keep falling off the wagon.

It’s a clie actually. A little old school but with a few dozen features more than my old treo. It can play media, and sort calendars, it also is much more stable at things like “Documents To Go”, which often crashed my little treo. the thumb board is strangely situated, so it may be a minute before I can fly on it. What I really love is the divisible “To Do” list, it works much better with GTD, I’ve got a list for “calls” a list for “errands”,etc. It’s wicked cool. For all you cats who’ve had the newest latest for a while, I’m sure this sounds “old school”, but I’m one of those people who believe that technology becomes it’s most useful when it dips below 100$.

Whichever the bad one is. I’ll hit the file cabinet this weekend, at least get the archived stuff done. My technology needs updating, hopefully my clie cables will arrive this weekend, and I’ll push toward a more orderly exsistance.

sweet. It’s funny how the appearance of a thing give it so much appeal. I am still working toward getting my life into 43 folders, but Kinkless GTD has really helped.

It just came out today. I want to try it, but I’m always a little nervous it’ll screw with the good thing I’ve got going. Still it promises a slew of new features and better syncing.

I’ve let my thougts and my efforts stray. I’ve got to get back on point. I’ll reorder everything on Saturday.

But I need to iron out the kinks in my system. It’s tempting sometimes to go a day and not update my folders. Plus I have so much of my reference information to organize yet.
