I’m a lot closer to this. I have to use the first section to pay some back-taxes and then I have an overdue credit card. I finished paying off my laptop though.

Trying to set up a meeting with a financial advisor 3 years ago

a friend recommended. The hardest part is laying out my goals-I’d like to produce an animated film in 5 years. I’d like to produce a comedy album and a feature length film in the next two years. Its hard for money people to take these goals seriously-but I have no doubt that all of these projects will yield a profit.

Could take a while. . . 4 years ago

I’ve got my school loans, plus the mortgage. I don’t imagine debt free is something that I can accomplish in anything less than ten years. I guess, what I’m hoping to do this year is pay off the random debt I have: my credit union, a couple of overdue bills, and a few hundred in back taxes. Once I get that out of the way, my credit rating will improve—and I’ll have more money to throw at my student loans and mortgage
