create a television program

I don’t know what happens next, if it’ll get edited and sold. But my contributions is done. Hope it works out.

The producer is saying we’ll shoot no later than November 4th.

but I hooked up my VCR. We were using my girl’s for a while, but it had some problems with programming. I thought about getting one of those new fangled PVR, or something like that. But hey, the old technology was sitting in my closet, hooked it up and programmed it to tape every show that I have a inkling of interest in writing for. The cool thing is , if I really wanted to I could put those on my computer, via a deck or a dv camera.

Now, onto field, and then Avid. I’ll nee some volunteer hours too. I met someone who’s working on a comedy show. Hopefully I’ll do some production work with her group and some other stuff and get the other stuff out of the way to focus on the projects in my hopper.

Back in class again at Arlington Public Access. Things are going well, learned lighting on Saturday, next week. . .sound. The focus of studio shows is always talking heads. But I don’t want to do that kind of show. Still confused about how to get studio output onto dv so I can edit it at home, but I’m sure it’s coming.

We’re editing now. Or I should say, my partner is editing.

But big things are happening. I’m working with someone who can make this happen. I just need to keep writing, and hope that it’s funny.

who’ve done this sort of thing before. Working on my first short-“My Cabbage Concubine”, it’s odd-but it could be funny if I rewrite a few more times. My new producer-editory friend is coming to see my stand-up on Thursday. I’d better do well. I should send an evite tomorrow. This should be a good week, if I push a little.

Not in any important capacity. I work in the media library. Anyway, I met a video editor guy whose interested in working with me to create some shows. Things are moving in the right direction.

Sadly the last person I’d asked wasn’t reliable enough. That is the nature of comedy, or I guess arts in general. Everyone is a flake. Anywhoo, I pitched what parts of the script I have and now I’ll wait for her input.
