The classic way to get an agent for a sit-com writer, is that I send a query. Then they write back and say okay, then I send back my script with a waiver and then they read the script. What I’d like to do is write a few funny lines. Get the assistant on the phone, be funny. Talk to the agent. Send a script, with my own damn waiver. This will save a ton of time (and postage). So today, I’m going to work on my funny phone banter—get a sales script together and start working the list.

I need a stand-up agent too. Anyone know about finding one that actually gets gigs?
