I took a bunch of creative writing classes while in college, (English major with and emphasis in Writing kind of has to), but I want to take more that aren’t attached to a degree now. I want to take random, off-the-wall classes that I might not have been interested in back in the day. And some that might help me in the way towards my grad school apps. The writing center I volunteer at has tons to choose from that are taught by prestigious writers and teachers, but I’ve just got to focus and sign up for them before they get filled up.
I did take a class on getting published not that long ago that was semi-helpful, but since it wasn’t necessarily writing focused, I won’t count that. I’ll be good and still keep the goal up til I’ve at least taken one. What can I say? I’ve always loved school and learning (especially about subjects I am passionate about), and will take classes as often as I can afford to.
