Every label I look at has either a very large serving of sodium or a very little one BUT a very small serving size as well. I am so tired of looking at labels. It’s like a way of life for me now. I was warned over and over and over again when I was younger by my mom and by my doctor about eating less salt since high blood pressure runs in my family as well as kidney disease. I try to avoid it but I think I need to drink more water. I exercise a lot so I get rid of a lot of sodium that way but other than that I wish there were more things that taste good without salt. I am so amazed by how different salt can make things taste. But maybe I rely too much on my sense of taste and shouldn’t be so picky. I am a new vegetarian so I should get used to things not tasting as I was raised to think they should taste. Not everything can taste lik mama used to make I guess.
