I started doing hatha yoga, which is great for beginners, five years ago. I took a couple of classes at the YMCA, but mostly I did it on my own, with yoga cards and videos. I did it regularly for a few years, but then I got bored with my routine. Last year I started downloading yoga podcasts from iTunes (20 minute yoga podcasts and Yoga Journal.) I discovered Ashtanga Yoga, which is more challenging, but it was exactly what I neeeded! The Yoga Journal website is also a great source of information and videos. I did Lotus pose, for the first time, a few months ago. It felt amazing!
