have a garage sale

We will have the garage sale the first week of may!! I have to advertise. I believe we have a Wedding later in the day. But I want to get rid of some junk so we will have more space in the garage.

With my sons birthday being in a few weeks, my husband and I decided to put this off until after his birthday. Which is fine. When I am going through things to clean, I will be putting things in the garage sale pile.

I want to go through the house and add to the garage pile since I want to have this soon. I have to sit down and decide when I am having it so I can advertise on Craigs list.

1) Go through closets/my drawer for clothes
2) Kitchen… go through kitchen things
3) Go through books again
3) look in every room and look for things I can do without and I don’t really need.

We seem to add to the garage pile quite often. I did books on the garage sale rack in the garage. We now have a new stack of books and odds/ends in our kitchen. These items were placed in the kitchen to be moved to the garage sale pile.

We now have a garage sale pile in our garage. Currently we have a book pile in our kitchen. I realized tonight that with our schedule through the next couple of months and getting ready for the new baby we are not going to have time for a garage sale. Our kitchen looks like a disaster. Partly because of all the books stacked in the corner.

By Thursday I will place the books in boxes or storage bins and put them in the garage sale pile in the garage.
