move to a new city

So, here in California currently. I can’t wait to move to our permanent home! I’ll be here for almost 4 months and then moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado. :D

We finally get to move! My husband got orders for Colorado, so we’ll be there in February. First, we have to be in California for a few months. This is my first time really moving (as in, packing a lot of stuff and having household furniture moved) and it’s such a pain in the butt! :/ Still, I’m excited!

Never did I imagine that I would end up living in North Dakota. Having lived in Fresno, CA all my life I realize now just how much I took it for granted to have a variety of places to eat and a selection of things to do. I used to think I lived in such a boring city. Now, having lived in this wee town for over two years I realize I had it great over there. Just 4 hours from major cities, while here we have to travel for eight.
In a year we’ll be living somewhere else. It hasn’t been bad living here, as it’s the place that’s been our first home as a married couple. I really am going to miss it, but at the same time I know I want to see new places and perhaps finally meet some new people.
