Okay, I have been in California for almost ten years. Since I moved to the L.A. area, I NEED to learn spanish, and when I say NEED, I mean NEEEEEED!!!!! It’s sometimes hard for me to communicate, because most of the people that live and work around here speak spanish. I went in to burger king yesterday and had a really hard time ordering food for my son. I felt like “I” was the one in a foreign country. Don’t get me wrong, I am not being negative or saying anything mean..it’s just that things will be a lot easier if I learned spanish, especially if I want to continue to stay in this area.
