Find a Religion

I’ve been reading about Buddhism, writing Haiku, and doing yoga. This doesn’t count as “finding a religion”, but at least it’s a step. Next stop, local Japanese gardens on Saturday for a retreat from suburb life.

A rabbi recently told me that my spirituality now will be different than my spirituality 20 years from now. I am searching now, but I will always be searching. I don’t think Judaism is right for me, after about 7 years of learning and experiencing the faith. It felt right at one time, but I feel like I’ve grown into needing something else, something more earth-centered. I’m looking into neo-pagan ideas, but we’ll see where that leads.
