buy my own house

It would be so nice to have my very own place, that I actually owned. I wish I had the ability to pay for a place of my own, but I can’t. Not if I live in Portland.

But hopefully, in a few years! There are so many cool houses here. I’d like to get a place here for a while, fix it up and re-sell it or rent it out.. then move to wherever my perfect town is and buy a cottage.. like an old world type. :)

I know I want a house.. I wish I had one now.. and I know that now is a buyer’s market.. but I have a lot of work to do before I can get to that point.

Eventually, I would really like to buy a place in Portland, and then eventually rent it out so I can move to a small mountain town east of here.

I’ve been eyeing a house lately, although I know I can’t get it.. but it’s nice to have a goal to help set my priorities in place. Maybe in a couple years it will be possible!
