- Dream about apocalypse (including Charlotte York from Sex and the City, crappy health care, shooting and yelling at my sister for not having her own emergency backpack!)
23
- I found an awesome time abnormality in my organizer. It jumps from the end of June to the middle of December, goes on until the end of the year and then back to the end of June. I’m going to take a look at that end of the world everyone’s talking about and then come back and tell you aaaall about it.
24
- The last Japanese reading lesson! Yyaaayyy!
- My beloved friends in my favourite bar (Boro for the win!)
- My English teacher’s “he’s not covered in shit, he must be the king,” “let’s kill babies, bang! Bang!”

- My presentation on 19/20th century Australia, it was so much fun and the class discussion was so interesting!
- Getting all the school work off my chest, I felt sooooo relieved.
- Putting on my 50’s dress, making a 50’s hairdo and having a great time on the retro party
- PINEAPPLE!! (foodgasm, haha)
20
- Train ride home. I spent almost the whole ride with my head sticking out of the window, breathing the fresh spring air and watching the landscape.
- Titanic. Nothing has changed since the time I saw the movie for the first time (except I’m not 10 anymore and I don’t need subtitles nor dubbing, muahaha). Leo Dicaprio is still as hot, the running around the half-flooded ship still as dramatic and the ending still makes me cry hysterically. Oh, how I love that movie..
21
- Pancakes with apples, walnuts, cinnamon and cream.
- Evening with P, L and my sister.

15/4
- Shearwater – amazing concert and the most crystal clear sound I’ve heard in years
- B. trying to pick a fight (not a serious one) with everyone (thank god I make videos of that, I can’t stop laughing when I watch them)
16/4
- Early morning arrival to Brno, all 6 of us tired as hell
- B. sleeping with his head on my shoulder in the train
- Falafel
17/4
- Meeting A. after such a long time – she told me that there might be one of my favourite band’s show in Brno pretty soon, I’m so excited!
- My Japanese teacher’s jokes during the lesson
18/4
- I’ve done a lot of schoolwork!
- Almost religious excitement about 16 Horsepower and Woven Hand music. I’ve never felt this way about any band. David Eugene Edward’s voice is almost haunting and his godliness makes the music come to a whole another level. It would never come to my mind that any music could make me think about god.

- L, P, D and me went to Poland to get out tickets for the Summer festival
- A funny pigeon
- L calling me “an old sailor” as I was sitting with a cigarette in the corner of my mouth trying to open a beer bottle with my keys. I must have looked funny.
- Hearing and being able to use Polish
- All the cute shoes in shop windows (why don’t they sell such shoes in the CR?)
14/4
- Quiet study night with a cup of coffee and Symon’s Quest for Corvo

- I found my student ID card!!!! YEEEEESSSSS!!! Just when I thought it was lost again, it just popped up out of nowhere (well.. actually I found it in my bag but that doesn’t make it less exciting)
- Sunny weather
- A walk
- Laundry done!

9/4
- Seeing mum again

- I was listening to some Nick Cave music when I remembered.. A couple of years ago, I went to the cinema to see Der Himmel über Berlin (Wings of Desire). I don’t remember much but there was this scene when a guy walks into a club and there’s Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds concert.. I think that was the day I fell in love with Cave. His voice is just so.. enchanting.

3 – Sunshine, lunch and coffee with D.
- I found a A Whisper in the Noise poster. It’s on my wall now, haha.

- Falafel
- Evening with my friends in the bar
4 – I managed to finish all the school work for the next day
- I ran into my ex-roommie, we had lunch together and then hung out in the park nearby.. I think I miss having a fluent English speaker around, we used to switch from Czech (Slovak in his case) into English as if it was nothing unusual.
5 – American literature lecture, I just loooove Sylvia Plath.
- Cheap new pants
- Beer with my fellow English students
- British modernist literature and mr. Kaylor’s awesome theories on literature and Baron Corvo. Taking this course was the best idea I’v ever had, seriously.

- Oh dear, this is my 101st post on this goal!
- I ran into D., we’re going to have ice-cream tomorrow. I’m looking forward to spending some time with him. I haven’t talked to him for aaaaaages (plus he’s British, it’ll be a cool English training for me).

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom + Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
Those movies just never get old. They’re so brilliant, especially The Last Crusade, I just love Sean Connery in it.
The scene when he sets the room on fire, they both keep turning around in the fireplace secret door for a while and then Indiana Jones blocks the passage with a Hitler bust… that just kills me every time.

But there is a moral!
Never let Sean Connery get hold of your lighter or he’ll set the house on fire. :D

E-mail from my Japanese teacher addressed to “Ninjin-chan” – ninjin is carrot (that’s cause of my haircolor) in Japanese and chan is a suffix used for friends and such. I just love that nickname, it’s so cool and cute.
