For as long as I can remember I have been terrified of sharks..what I always envisoned as these mechanical primordial monsters that attack from the deep and eat people alive. I always thought that this was a fear I should confront in someway. when I was in Mexico, on Isla Mujeres (The Isle of women) off the Cancun coast, I saw a few people swimming with the relatively docile nurse shark just off the pier. They were playing with it and lifting it up in their arms! It was just the most amazing looking creature. I was tempted to jump in there and stroke its shiney skin…so mebbe. As for the more aggressive variety, well…
