become bilingual

okay so at my new job, we have quite a few spanish people, and most of the guys in the kitchen talk in spanish, and i really want to know what they’re saying! i also would like to be able to communicate with the spanish guys… like the dishwasher and some of the cooks. so i ordered this spanish phrasebook from amazon.com… and it was supposed to come last friday… it is wednesday today, and it still hasnt come. i want that damn book.

i want to be able to speak another language fluently. i’m not sure which one i want to learn first, out of italian, german, and spanish. spanish would probably be the most useful while living in the u.s., but if i travel to europe, which i completely intend on doing, italian or german would be very useful…
