take more risks

i’ve liked for ages, and he’s a friend of mine, part of me just wants to txt him and tell him i like him.. just to see what happens.. i don’t think that would be very smart though… i’m going to write a pros and cons list and think about it.. hmm

well i did something i wouldnt usually do, i introduced myself to the new guy in class.

usually i dont bother introducing myself to new people, because well i’m pretty shy, and usually they have other people to talk to.. he didnt have anyone else to talk to at the time, so i just said “hi i’m blah blah blah, where you from? blah blah blah” and mentioned i was in one of his classes.

we just talked for like 30 seconds before the conversation tired lol and some other people came to talk to him.

but i’m glad i introduced myself and was friendly because if i was new and i was sitting there with no one to talk to i think i’d be grateful for someone to introduce themselves…? i think.. wouldnt you? i mean he’s new he’s shy he doesnt wanna approach people. (that’s how i perceived it anyway)

you know just being friendly, letting him know he exists.. oh yeah and he’s foreign.. kind of hard to understand.. and he’ll probably have forgotten my name by tomorrow anyway because he has so met so many new people..

but anyway, i’m glad i took a “risk” and talked to him, because it’s not something i usually do, introducing myself… a step outside my comfort zone, which is a good thing.
